Disneyland

We went to Disneyland for the girls 4th birthday this year and had a blast! We picked a perfect day, not to hot or busy. Gma, Poppy, grandpa Rich and the 4 of us all went up together. Grandma Lynette offered to watch Max. It would have been a long day for him so that was nice of grandma.

The girls were so excited. The first ride we went on was Peter Pan and that was probably the longest line of the day also. Which was probably only 25 min. Megan had a little accident while waiting in line. She was playing on the railing and decide to do a flip over the top. I don't know if she did not know there were bars or if she did it by accident but she smacked the bars with her head and  had a huge bump and little cut and we had not even been there an hour yet.

We decide to try and take them on the bigger roller        coasters. So we went on the Mattor Horn after a couple of the kiddy rides. Malory loved it and Megan was ok except for parts that were in the dark. So after that it was off to all the other "bigger roller coaster" rides. They rode Big thunder mountain and Splash Mountain, Space mountain was closed which they probably would not have liked because it would be so dark.

We found out about the new Princess area where you can go meet different princess throughout the day. We just missed meeting Cinderella and Belle. We saw them from a little ways and the girls yelled hi and they waved to them so that made there day. Next time we go we will definitely spend the time to wait in line for this.

The parade at night was a big hit for the girls. we brought there princess dresses and let them wear them during the parade. Before the parade all the kids were running around in the middle of the street just having a great time.

Megan and Malory turn 4

The girls turned four on the 12th of Sept.  They had a very fun and full day including a baseball game and chucky cheese.

The girls got to go to Petco park to watch a padres game with Mike and Grandpa Rich. They rode the trolley down from Qualcomm to Petco and the girls thought that was pretty cool. They got to stand up and watch out the window. They told the lady who was driving the trolly it was their birthday and the actually came on the load speaker and said " We have 2 very special guest who are turning 4 today on the trolley named Megan and Malory, and we wanted to wish them a happy birthday" Mike said everyone cheered and the girls got so excited.

I got the padres tickets through my work for a special Strike out cancer event but unfortunately I had to work so we asked Grandpa  Rich to go with Mike and the girls. This was grandpas first time to the new Petco stadium so he was pretty excited. The also got to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Amy who were there with Amy's dad.

After the game they came back to Grandma and Poppy's house where Max was all day and we went to Chucky Cheese for dinner. I bought 2 little cakes at the store and we had pizza for dinner.

Favorite thing for that day!

We started doing a new thing before going to bed where we all go around and say what our favorite things was for that day. I thought it was cute what the kids were saying so I wanted to keep track.

Megan
- Reading Max a bedtime story ( she was so into picking a dog story that he would like and so she made up words to Lady and the Tramp
- eating dinner as a family ( we do it every night but it is cute to hear her say that it was her favorite)
-

Malory
- sending fake phone messages to each other on the way home from grandma and poppy's ( we pretend to call and leave messages for each other and they always end the message with a made up word and I have to pretend call them back and say WHAT DID YOU SAY!!! They giggle every time.
- Swimming at Grandpa Rich's

Beach Day

We took the kids to the beach a couple weekends ago for the day. This was Max's first time to the beach and he really did not like the water to much. The water was very cold but the girls and daddy went in a little.

Where does the time go?

Well it has been a couple months since my last post and a lot has happened. The girls finished their first year of preschool with Ms. Lisa. Now they are starting the next year of preschool. Max is walking and even starting to try and run and talk. It is pretty cute seeing him try and keep up with the girls. Plus Mike and me went on a vacation to Hawaii for my 30th birthday!

Ms Lisa puts on a little end of the year program for the parents and grandparents. This year’s theme was cowboys and cowgirls. They sang songs and she had a graduation ceremony for the kids that will be going to kindergarden next year. The girls looked so cute and had so much fun singing the songs they learned

Max is getting big! Max is now almost 16 months old and is so much fun. He has been walking for a few months now and even starting to run and try and keep up with the girls. I think we might have are hands full with this little boy.

Hawaii vacation for me and Mike. My mom offered to watch the kids so Mike and me could go on a vacation somewhere. We decided on Hawaii and started planning. We went to Maui and the Big Island. We only had 6 days so we did as much as we could in those few days. We went horseback riding, on a helicopter tour, snorkeling, hiking and we saw the sunrise on top of the volcano.

Max's First Birthday Party

We had Max's birthday Party on March 20th at a Park here in Temecula. All the family from the area was there and even grandma Vivian. Max loved his cake and looked like a little Smurf from the blue frosting after it was all over.

The girls had fun riding thier bikes and showing off for everyone. They were also very excited about all of Max's new toys.

Max enjoyed his cake and like sharing it with his sister too. He was such a blue mess but thanks to Gma he got cleaned up pretty fast.

Here is one of Max's new riding toy and the birthday boy with his daddy.

There is something about seahorses

We took Gma to the Birch Aquarium for her Christmas present this past weekend. The girls loved looking at all the fish and finally were brave enough to touch the sea cucumber. We saw all kinds of sea horses, sharks, big fish, small fish and even an octopus. Malory kept asking where the dolphins were and Megan wanted to see the whales. We are thinking about taking them to Sea World sometime soon.
