We had a good Christmas this year. The kids got everything they asked santa for so they were happy. Megan got her racecar. Malory got her yellow princess.
Here are the girls on their very own balance beam that Grandpa Rich made for them.
We must have caught some kind of bug on our Utah trip because every since we got back we have all been a little sick or alot sick. Poor little Megan got the worst of it. She has been sick from Thanksgiving until now 4 day before Christmas. Took her to the Dr. again this week and he said that there is nothing they can give her. My poor baby girl!!
We traveled to Utah for Thanksgiving this year. It was along drive with a lot of people in our little van but we had a great time. Harriett and Norman made the drive with us. I am really glad they did because they helped entertain the kids.
We got to see all of Harrietts family for Thanksgiving and there was 33 people at the house for dinner.
No Snow fell when we were there but the first couple days the kids got to play in the yard with the left over snow. It was pretty cold so we just stayed inside and ate ALOT
Misty gave everyone haircuts including Megan and Malory.
Megan and Malory liked hanging out with Grandpa Mark as he sent out his emails.
The girls have been taking a gymnastics class over the last couple months. Mike takes them on Wed and they seem to really like it. Megan was very excited when she learned how to jump on one foot and Malory is still practicing and soon will be able to do it.
The playgroup I take the kids to had a fun Halloween event that the kids had fun at. I had the girls wear the costumes from last year because I did not want then to mess up there actual dresses.
The girls were princesses for Halloween this year. Megan was Cinderella and Malory was Belle. We went Trick or Treating down at Grandma and Poppy's house and they both got alot of candy, probably to much
Grandma Julie came down for the week to visit us and spend time with her grandchildren. She gave me and
Mike the chance to get away for a night. We spend the night at the casino in town, Pechanga, and I had my first full night of sleep in about 8 months. Thanks mom!!
Grandma also got to see the girls new preschool and watch them at their first Gymnastics class.
We had a garage sale to try and get rid of some of the
baby stuff that we have. It is always interesting to see the type of people that come to garage sales.
Lauren and Natalie came up for a little while on Friday and we got to play outside for a little until it got to hot.
We went to the pumpkin patch with G-Ma, Poppy, Jessica and Jonah yesterday for a little family fun. The girls had fun going on the slide and riding all the other little rides.
After the rides we took everyone to get ice cream. I'm sure this will not be the last time we go to this pumpkin patch since the girls see it every day going down to Poppy and Grandmas. Also they want to go with Grandma Julie since they went last year with her.
We decided it would be fun to camp for the girls 3rd birthday since they had so much fun last time we went. We went to Vail Lake right out side of Temecula and had a great time. Grandpa Rich and Grandma Lynette camped with us and Amy and Mike came for one night. It was a pretty hot weekend but luckly we were camped in the shade and there was a pool. The girls had a pretty princess cake and enjoyed opening all their gifts.
We had a wonderful time with all of my family up at Grandma Vivians 80th birthday party. We celebrated at a nice park in Sunnyvale. It was a fun filled day for the kids with all the park and water features and also fun filled for Grandma who decided to let her grandkids put her up in their parasale that they pull behind the boat normally. This time it was just a bunch of the guys pulling the rope but she sure did get high enough
We gave grandma her blog book and had a nice BBQ and also cake. It was nice to get all the cousins together again. It had been a while
Camping was a great time this past weekend. We all went to Lake Morena in Campo. The girls got to make smores, sit by the camp fire, went on a hike, and ride thier bikes and had fun doing it all.
