I never thought it would be done but we got carpet put in this week and are planning on moving the girls into their"big girl room" this weekend. Which makes me excited because now I can get the babies room in order. Mike did a great job, even put up with all my nagging about when it would be done. Thanks to my dad for giving Mike a hand one day also.
Basically we had a room with no closet that we needed to be the girls room so we( or I should say Mike) cut a new door way and added a closet plus we put new carpet in. Here are some of the before and after pictures.
We moved the girls in on Saturday and they were so excited to finally have a big girl room. We tried to make it a big deal to them so they did not feel like they were getting kicked out of the old room. I think they will be fine when their little brother comes.
